I received a suggestion to do an exploratory analysis of the
INDIGO WORLDWIDE PHENOMENON, described as follows.
Next weekend, January 29th and 30th, INDIGO will be seen in theaters and
churches in all 50 states in the US, and in 40 countries around the
world, with over 1000 screenings in a single weekend. THIS HAS NEVER
HAPPENED with an independent film before, and it is ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!!!! The
momentum behind this film is record breaking, and no one is happier than
the Indigo Children themselves. Wherever you are this weekend, make plans to
attend a World Indigo Day event near you. You won't want to miss this
energy.
The Big Event begins in Byron Bay, Australia, the first place where the
morning sun touches the earth (not counting New Zealand, of course).
I agreed to do an exploratory analysis, and the result provides an
interesting lesson. On the 29th, there is no strong trend
over the whole day nor during the Indigo time I was given (marked in the
graphs).
On the 30th there is a striking spike beginning about
midday. It corresponds to the elections in Iraq, which I
think most of us will agree was a more intensely engaging event for
the global consciousness than the showing of the Indigo
film. During the time period I was given for the showing in Greece,
the trace is level.
This is not a definitive result, but it parallels other assessments of
events with local interest, or focus by a small subset of people.
